Margie’s mother was a model for health and nutrition, but sadly in 1993 she was diagnosed with breast cancer and passed seven years later. The void of her mother’s death, a legacy of living a life of health and happiness left behind, and a need for answers all served as a current that guided Margie towards Yoga. At first Yoga was a way to clear her mind and serve her mother by following in her footsteps, but it soon evolved into a means to cleanse her soul. Her family often marveled at just how much her and her mother enjoyed fitness. Her admiring husband often joked of how he believed Margie could do Yoga all day long, and how he wished he could enjoy anything that much. After years of working a stressful job Margie finally realized that Yoga did not only have to be a hobby and she soon became a YogaWorks certified 200 RYT. Margie’s vibrant spirit and love for yoga become contagious in her classes, as she shares a therapeutic and enlightening experience. Her journey left her with the message, “we don’t have a soul, we are a soul, and we have a body,” and her hope is that you leave her class with that message.
